Heket the Fertile
A well known story tells of a plague of frogs which overran Egypt (epidemiological reconstruction of the 10 plagues of Egypt) but the Egyptians knew the significance of the frog before that. She was Heket, with her life-giving powers, manifested on earth in frog form.
